Then Ed Roy of the Michigan Wildlife Council has an update on their "Here for Generations" campaign. Hour two features Upper Penninsula fishing guide Connor Backus. He talks about fishing smallmouth in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Steve Windom from MUCC is my next guest. He has an update out of Lansing and also talks about their Youth Camp to get kids involved in the outdoors. Gary Morgan of Wild Game Dynasty joins me in Hour 3. Gary is a hunting guide and talks about the upcoming Michigan bear season. We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar and another great recipe.

Jason Horton is my first guest this week. Jason is with the Michigan Bowfishing Association. He talks about the appeal of that sport and how to get started. "Mr. Angler Quest", Brad Dupuie is up next. He has an update on the progress toward coming out with his own line of fishing pontoons. Hour two features "Uncle Ted", the "Whackmaster" Ted Nugent. Ted talks about the role of hunting today and how the Fred Bear song came to be. Chad Fedewa from the Michigan DNR is up next. He talks about the springtime whitetail fawning season. The hour wraps up with this week's "Ask Avery" segment. The question is answer by Sgt. Mark Papineau of the DNR. We're talking fishing in Hour 3 with Lance Valentine of Teachin Fishin. Lance is wrapping up his season on the Detroit River and heading north to Saginaw Bay for the summer trolling season. Next, Justin Tomei from MUCC joins me with an update out of Lansing.
