Show Notes

Last week, I shared the news about the closing of Willow Midwife Center and the complicated emotions that come with releasing something you built with your whole heart.

Today’s conversation is different.

This episode isn’t about loss or reaction.

It’s about orientation.

In this solo reflection, I share what I’m building now - not as a grand announcement, but as a deeper shift in how I want to create, lead, and grow moving forward.

For years my work lived in the clinical world: birth centers, midwifery practice, infrastructure, and systems of care. I loved that work deeply. But alongside it, another layer was forming: language around identity transitions, the arc of rebirth, and how women navigate profound life changes without abandoning themselves.

That is the space I’m stepping more fully into now.

Not a replacement for what came before.

A continuation, from different ground.

In this episode we talk about:

  • Why I’m not rebuilding something that exhausted me
  • The shift from scale to depth in leadership and growth
  • What it means to build in a way that doesn’t outrun your nervous system
  • The framework of stability → clarity → structure when entering a new chapter
  • Why endings are not failure, but the clearing of ground

I also share what you can expect in upcoming episodes as we expand conversations around matrescence, identity evolution, embodied leadership, entrepreneurship, and cyclic living in a linear world.

If you are standing at the edge of a transition - personally, professionally, or internally - this episode is for you.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is pause long enough to build the next chapter well.

Coming Up This Month

Upcoming conversations include:

  • Courtney Smith of Maternally Nourished on food, nourishment, and postpartum recovery
  • Stephanie Gambetta of The Loop Way on identity loops and reinvention
