The spread of humans around the globe has accidentally—and sometimes intentionally—led to the introduction of non-native species to vulnerable habitats. And when an animal or plant arrives at a new location, it’s going to do what a critter instinctively does: devour other plants an/or animals; breed, spread disease, and breed some more, all while viciously competing for local resources. It’s a tale as old as time; species gonna species.
