Michigans Yaxel Lendeborg, a UAB transfer, has been named a finalist for the Wooden Award, the top prize for college hoops player of the year. Hes also on the Wooden All-American team. Lendeborg led Michigan to a regular season title, earning Big Ten Player of the Year, first team all-conference, and all-defensive team nods. Hes averaging 15.2 points, 7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game. Lendeborgs impact has Michigan dreaming big in the Final Four, and his name is now among the greats this year.
