Local Hero: Miami Dolphins Sign Speedy WR Tutu Atwell
The Miami Dolphins have signed wide receiver Tutu Atwell, a South Florida native, as an unrestricted free agent. Atwell, drafted 57th overall by the Los Angeles Rams in 2021, brings speed and big-play potential to the Dolphins offense. In his five seasons with the Rams, Atwell played in 64 games, starting 27, and caught 105 passes for 1,535 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also ran for 72 yards and a score. Atwells college career at Louisville was equally impressive, where he set school records for yards and touchdowns in a single season.
