This episode I'm joined by deer biologist Ashley Autenrieth with the Michigan DNR to discuss the topics of deer baiting and the use of supplement in winter. We discuss the issues with deer baiting and why the state no longer allows it for most of the state. Then we move on to winter feeding. Ashley covers why supplement feeding is not allowed in Michigan and why it is not recommended through most of the country. Then we dive into the resent change with the state moving to a universal antlerless tag. We discuss the reasoning behind that decision and address some of the concerns to the number of tags available.
