In this episode, I have a conversation with Vani Shiroor about a traditional form of Indian sand art she uses as a daily mindfulness practice. Vani reminds us that creating inner space and calm minds doesn't require a meditation cushion, but can be done creatively, in our homes as a daily ritual. She also talks about the importance of this art being done at the threshold of the home, what that signifies for our inner life, and how brushing this art away each day has been the most powerful practice of letting go.
