Rabbi Berkson then begins a new subject, ‘Overcoming the Evil One (who wants to make us a liar), taking us to 1 John 2 where the beloved disciple tells it like it is by saying, “The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.”
