Continuing the topic, “The Mind and Thinking of Man, and How It Relates to Authority”, Rabbi Steve Berkson takes us to Luke 8:5-18 and the parable of the Sower and the Seed. We know that the “seed” is the Word of God and the “soil” is our heart. Rabbi Steve teaches us about the “soil/heart” and how it interacts with the “seed/Word of God”, and how the way we think has a huge part in that interaction. Are you submissive to the authority of the Word of God?
Why should you pay attention when the scriptures tell you to “take heed”?
Does the Holy Spirit teach you directly without a person, or do we need teachers today?
