Going to the book of the prophet Amos, chapter 5, we are staying with the topic of how wisdom, understanding and knowledge relate to keeping covenant with the Almighty. In this episode Rabbi Steve Berkson continues looking at the references of “wormwood” to discover the relevance for you today.
Then from “wormwood” we get the word “bitter”. Rabbi Steve takes us into Isaiah 5:20-21 and James chapter 3 so we might understand what the word “bitter” is referring to.
