Peoria Unified School District is moving to terminate Haley Beck, a teacher at Centennial High School, following an inappropriate relationship with a student. Becks text messages revealed her offering oral sex, calling the student her sugar baby, and spending over $600 on him. The relationship began when the student was still a minor. Another teacher, Angela Burlaka, sent explicit videos to the same student when he was underage. Both teachers were placed on paid leave, and Burlaka was terminated in January. Becks termination is pending a hearing, but she hasnt requested one as of late March. The district alleges Beck groomed the student into a sexual relationship, with potential other victims still under investigation.
