Her disappearance is unusual, as she left behind her wallet and purse, and hasnt been in touch. Family and advocates fear this could be linked to the Missing and Murdered Indigenous People crisis, with over ten thousand Native Americans reported missing last year. Despite repeated requests, authorities havent provided updates. Schurz doesnt qualify for a turquoise alert yet, but advocates are planning searches and distributing flyers.
