Milky Way season is here! From March to September, our galaxys bright band will be visible in the northern hemisphere, best seen after sunset in dark spots. No telescope needed, just look for the hazy arc of light rising in the southeast. A new moon on March 18th will provide ideal viewing conditions. By June, the galactic core will arch overhead all night. For the best views, head to dark sky locations like Grand Canyon National Park or Flagstaff.
