A man in Tempe, Arizona, received a seven and a half year prison sentence for a shooting spree near Interstate 10. Jesus Manuel Enriquez-Gonzalez, 25, pleaded guilty to nine counts of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal damage. The incident occurred on March 18, 2025, near the Marriott Phoenix Resort. He fired at a passing car, injured two hotel workers, and attempted to carjack a mother with her two children. Police arrested him with a Smith and Wesson handgun. Despite claiming self-defense, he was sentenced to prison until 2031.
