Linda Rode, a dementia caregiver from Fountain Hills, Arizona, recently hosted the third annual Dementia Friendly Fountain Hills Summit with council member Peggy McMahon. After caring for her husband Paul full-time and supporting his move to memory care, Linda now volunteers with Duet: Partners in Health and Aging, leading discussion groups for caregivers. Arizona faces a significant shortage of home care workers, with an estimated need for 190,000 more by 2030. Duet is launching a new training program to prevent homelessness among seniors and adults with disabilities, continuing Lindas vital work in the community.
