Show Notes

After nearly forty years, the Flagstaff cold case of Ina Claire Langstaffs murder is solved. James Arthur Runnels Junior, a Flagstaff resident at the time, is charged with first-degree murder. Langstaff, a Northern Arizona University student, was found stabbed to death in an alley. Despite initial leads and evidence, the case went cold until 2025 when new DNA results linked Runnels to the crime, bringing long-awaited closure to the grieving family and demonstrating the power of modern forensics.
