Arizona Department of Transportation is revamping cross streets along Interstate ten in downtown Phoenix and Ahwatukee, improving safety and smoothness. Work includes milling, laying fresh asphalt, fixing curb ramps, repairing pavement, and swapping out sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and median pavers. Expect lane restrictions and temporary shutdowns on cross streets and interstate on/off ramps. The project started in January 2026 and should be completed by fall 2026.
