S1 E12: Understanding and Nurturing Self-Esteem

Send us a textIn today's episode we are dealing with Self- Esteem -To get it touch, click on this link: https://poplme.co/hash/gBUJ4bG1/1/sUnderstanding Self-EsteemFirstthings first—what exactly is self-esteem? Self-esteem is essentially how weperceive our own worth. It encompasses our beliefs about ourselves, as well asthe emotional responses we have to those beliefs. When we have healthyself-esteem, we feel good about ourselves, acknowledge our strengths, andaccept our imperfections. It's important to note that self-esteem isn't aboutbeing perfect; it's about having a balanced and realistic view of who we are.Where can you draw self-esteem from? Looking in your past? What are your origins? If you go far back, you will realize that we all came from the same source from the same Maker. I can tell you that He did not play any favoritism, He created us all equal, and endowed with the same rights that no one has the right to take away from us: the right to live, the right to be free and the right to pursue our hearts desires as long as it does not infringe upon other people rights. He gave us minds and bodies to use, protect and benefit from. Those who understand this will live life like royalties. Those who don’t tend to look down on themselves, accepting mediocrity as their destiny.Understand that nobody, and I mean nobody, is better than you. People might be richer, healthier than you, but not more important than you in the eyes of God. If you do not love yourself, that is to say if you live with low self-esteem, lucking self-acceptance and self-love, you are teaching the world how to treat you and believe me you might not be happy with what they will do. You should be your number one fan. Have confidence in and respect yourself. However, do not make the mistake of looking for those components of self-esteem, outside yourself, because you will not find them, no one can give them to you, it is an inside job.The Importance of Self-EsteemSo, why is self-esteem so crucial? Well, self-esteem affects almost every aspect of our lives. It influences our relationships, our decision-making process, our emotional health, and even our physical health. People with high self-esteem are generally more resilient, able to handle stress better, and are more likely to take on challenges and pursue their goals. On the flip side, low self-esteem can lead to anxiety, depression, and a host of other mental health issues. It can hold us back from living our lives to the fullest. [....]Hey, amazing listeners! S1 E11: Why should you be an optimist?

Send us a textTo get in touch, please use this link: https://poplme.co/hash/gBUJ4bG1/1/sIn today's episode, we are exploring the importance of being an optimist. Optimism isn't just about seeing the glass as half full; it's a way of approaching life with hope, resilience, and a belief that the future holds promise. So, why should you choose to be an optimist? Let's explore.Firstly, optimism breeds resilience. When we face challenges or setbacks, it's easy to become discouraged and lose sight of our goals. But optimists view setbacks as temporary hurdles, not insurmountable obstacles. They maintain a positive outlook and persevere through adversity, knowing that better days lie ahead.Optimism also enhances our mental and physical well-being. Research has shown that optimists tend to experience lower levels of stress, anxiety, and depression. They have stronger immune systems, faster recovery times from illness, and overall better health outcomes. By cultivating a positive mindset, we can protect our mental and physical health and improve our quality of life.Hey, amazing listeners! S1 E10: Three Choices That Guarantee Achievement!

Send us a textContact info: https://poplme.co/hash/gBUJ4bG1/1/sIn Today episode I am sharing three choices that will guarantee achievement in anything that you do. A wise man once said that if there was only one key to success it would be honesty. But what is honesty? Is it the same thing as integrity? You will probably agree that the two are inextricably linked. Let’s take a look at the definitions: Webster defines honesty as “the quality of being fair and truthful” while, according to the same dictionary, integrity is defined as “the quality of being honest and fair” but also “the state of being complete or whole” Most of the time the lack or loss of those qualities determines whether you succeed or fail in your endeavors. S1 E8: Personal Leadership

Send us a textWant to get in touch? Click here: https://poplme.co/hash/gBUJ4bG1/1/sToday we're diving into the importance of personal leadership – how taking charge of our own lives can lead to profound growth and fulfillment. Personal leadership is about more than just making decisions or taking control. It's about understanding who we are, what we value, and where we want to go in life. By developing our own leadership skills, we can navigate the challenges and opportunities that come our way with confidence and clarity. So, why is personal leadership so important? Well, think of it this way: we are the CEOs of our own lives. We make choices every day that shape our experiences, relationships, and overall well-being. When we embrace our role as leaders in our own lives, we can become more resilient, adaptable, and empowered to create the life we desire. One key aspect of personal leadership is self-awareness. By understanding our strengths, weaknesses, and values, we can make decisions that align with who we are at our core. This self-awareness allows us to set meaningful goals, prioritize our time and energy, and stay true to ourselves even in the face of adversity.Another crucial element of personal leadership is accountability. When we take ownership of our actions and their consequences, we empower ourselves to learn and grow from both successes and failures. By holding ourselves accountable, we can cultivate a sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and resilience that serves us well in all areas of our lives.Hey, amazing listeners! S1 E7: The Power of Attitude

Send us a textContrary to popular belief, your aptitude does not always determine your Altitude, how high you rise in life. You can be very intellectually capable or very physically able but if you have a bad attitude, you won’t go anywhere. Let's start by defining attitude. Attitude is our mental and emotional outlook toward life. It encompasses our thoughts, beliefs, and feelings about ourselves, others, and the world around us. A positive attitude can lead to greater resilience, better relationships, and improved performance in work and life. On the other hand, a negative attitude can hold us back and create unnecessary stress. It is also usually defined or explained as a “an inward feeling expressed by behavior” So, really! Do we just have to monitor our behavior in order to improve our performance? Is it that simple? I believe there is more to it than that. The way we perceive and interpret our circumstances and things around us, our own self-esteem has a direct impact on how we perform. S1 E6: Is Life a right or a gift?

Send us a textTime does not wait for anyone. However you choose to spend it is your choice. What you neglect to do today, at this very moment, is gone, you can not make up for it. The Imam made the point that the number one request for the people who already passed, is to have one more chance to come back to life and do the right thing, do good deeds, to be closer to their Maker. We all know that it is a request that’s never granted. So why don’t we avail ourselves of the opportunities that we have to do good before it is too late? When we think of life as a right, we tend to take it for granted. We live as if it was eternal. Therefore we put things off telling ourselves that we will come back to them. We can play now and work later, we can party now and worship later, not realizing that “later” is not under our control. The only time we have control over is NOW, not yesterday, not tomorrow, but now, this very moment. Because we were all endowed with a free will of choice, what we do with this moment is up to usenjoying these episodes, if so please share with you friends and family.
