Rick Aldred was born in Springfield, MO, and he graduated from Missouri State University. In 2010, he received his commission as a 2LT in the US Army. Rick spent the next 8 years on active duty, deploying to Iraq, Afghanistan, as well as numerous training exercises in Europe. During his time in Europe, Rick began a series of emotional and physical affairs with multiple women. He eventually confessed his sin to his wife in October of 2016, 1 month after their first "miracle" baby was born. Rick was given the ultimatum to leave the military or his wife was going to leave.
This began a long road of recovery and reconciliation, and, through it all, Rick discovered a desire to help others through his own brokenness. He will graduate from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2021 with his M.A. in Counseling.
