Nelson chronicles some important lessons he has experienced through his medical school journey and how he has balanced successful endeavors while having so many obligations. We discuss what life is like as a black man in America despite having the facade of protection in wearing a white coat. He offers tools to be successful in applying to residency and elaborates on his vision for making change in underserved communities
