- Disciple-making thrives when we are intentional about relationships.
- Relationships can be maintained from a distance, but are developed in person. (vv.5-6)
- Relationships can be maintained in passing, but depth comes with extended time together. (v.7a)
- Our need for relationships must be submitted to God’s sovereignty. (v.7b)
- Joy and fruitfulness come by investing myself in my present situation, not my preferred situation. (vv.8-9)
