God often writes His greatest purposes through seasons we would never choose. In Luke 1, Pastor Luke Ahrens points to a faithful couple and a young woman whose confusion and disappointment became the setting for divine mercy. Heartache may linger, but it does not have the final word when God is at work. When His purposes unfold, sorrow gives way to joy and praise rises from places once marked by pain.
