Meet Robert Norris,


A conscientious Vietnam war objector and author of The Good Lord Willing and the Creek Don't Rise: Pentimento Memories of Mom and Me.

In this episode he shares the stories of his travels around Europe and the world, roadtripping from France to Iran, until he decides to settle in Japan where he moves his way up from a simple teaching job on a student Visa to full-time dean and eventually retired with a pension in a small city close to Fukuoka.
