Show Notes
In this On the Move, hosts Matt Avery and John Kraman kick things off by running down the Mecum Mobile Experience schedule. The MME will be present at several top automotive events later this fall, including SEMA, the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals and the Daytona Turkey Rod Run. Then it’s on to news of a new and exclusive part from NPD for one of the most popular classic pony cars: the 1967 Ford Mustang. Shifting gears to the latest car news, the guys take a look at the latest off-road truck from Chevrolet, the 2022 Silverado ZR2, before discussion of the 2022 Subaru WRX.
Up next, Matt is on the line with Ken Gross, the executive director of the Petersen Automotive Museum and the director for the Chattanooga Motorcar Festival. Mecum Auctions' event in Tennessee is part of the multiday car celebration, and Ken fills Matt in on how the event got started and its various facets including the road rally, race course and Concours d’Elegance.
Wrapping up this week's episode, Matt and John are onsite at Gold Eagle’s Chicago headquarters, and joining them is Research and Development Chemist Drake Stapleton. The focus of the conversation is on the very latest in car care technology, including a close look at the brand’s Graphene Nano Spray. Drake explains how it was created, its structure and its extreme benefits for keeping vehicles looking their best.
