This On the Move is starting with a checkered flag, with hosts Matt Avery and John Kraman racing to dive into the latest Mecum news that the company is once again sponsoring IndyCar driver Sage Karam. Keeping the pedal to the metal, Matt has news that Ford Performance is offering several new carbon fiber upgrades to the Mustang Shelby GT500 before sharing that BMW will be offering the brand’s M xDrive on the upcoming 2022 M3 Competition sedan and M4 Competition coupe. Both of the vehicles feature a 510-horsepower inline six-cylinder engine and deliver a zero to sixty miles per hour time of 3.4 seconds. Wrapping up the segment, John is zeroed in on Nissan’s upcoming Z sportscar and gives his thoughts on what he’s calling the latest entry in to the ‘400-horsepwoer club’. In Segment 2, the guys are on the line with performance pioneer, Reeves Callaway, founder of Callaway Cars. Reeves shares with them the company’s origins, tales from high-speed testing the iconic 1988 ‘Sledgehammer’ Corvette and teases what’s in store for performance cars of the future.
