Show Notes
In this On the Move, hosts Matt Avery and John Kraman chat with longtime automotive TV personality Kevin Tetz. Kevin’s 18-year television career includes time as the host and co-producer of “TRUCKS! TV” and the Truck-Tech series. He fills the guys in on how he got his start in the business, as well as his future educational endeavors intended to help others get their start in the industry.
Kevin also takes some time to share the ins and outs of the two special vehicles he brought to Mecum Indy. The first is a 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 featuring a twin-turbocharged 6.0L/700 HP V-8. The other is a 1971 Chevrolet C10 Pickup that, by all accounts, is a truly hot hauler. Under the hood is a 5.0L Cummins diesel V-8, rated at 600 HP and 1,000 lb-ft of torque. The truck also features a full-frame Schwartz Performance chassis, Baer 6-piston disc brakes with 14-inch rotors and a custom aluminum bed floor.
