Shmuel Beller was born in Oświęcim, Poland in 1927, not far from what would become the Auschwitz concentration camps. He was sent into several forced labor camps, and in 1944, he was moved to one of the Auschwitz camps. Samuel was then on the Death March and eventually liberated by American soldiers. Rabbi Moshe Feinstein was born in the year 1895 in Uzda, near Minsk. In 1921 he became rabbi of Luban, near Minsk, where he remained until he came to the United States in 1937. In America he became the Rosh Yeshiva of Mesivta Tiferes Yerushalayim, a yeshiva in NY. Rabbi Feinstein was a dedicated and selfless leader for the Jewish people to whom anyone could approach at any time with any problem. Rabbi Moshe Feinstein was one of the last of the great leaders and sages from Europe and was a representative of the greatness the Jewish people had before the destruction of the Jewish communities during World War II. We were greatly privileged to have such a giant here in America. When he passed away in 1986 the Jewish people lost a great and caring leader and one of our last connections to the greatness of European Jewry. Born in Minneapolis, MN to a family of Chabad Shluchim, Benny Friedman began his musical career at the age of 13 singing for locals around the neighborhood. Recognizing the power of music and it's ability to inspire, he dedicated many hours to vocal training and perfecting his art. Benny Friedman's talent was quickly recognized throughout the Jewish world and his music career took off with his first album release in 2009. Growing up in Teaneck, NJ, Rabbi Senter's parents raised him to develop a deep love and yearning for knowledge and Torah. He moved to Israel with his rebbitzen and learned in the Mir yeshiva for 5 years before starting to give shiur to a group of talmidim. In 2006, Rabbi Chaim Zvi Senter founded Yeshivas Aderes Hatorah on the philosophy that "every talmid with a desire to excel in his learning deserves the attention and support needed to truly do so". Rabbi Senter is known for his groundbreaking ideas and approach towards everything he does.
