Show Notes

Hey, Scuttlebutt listeners. Thank you for joining us and your continued support. This week, we welcome Jeremiah Workman back to the show. Jeremiah is a veteran of Operation Phantom Fury/Al-Fajr, also known as the Second Battle of Fallujah. He is a Navy Cross recipient and author of the book Shadow of the Sword. You can hear all about his story in Episode 61. Jeremiah happened to be in town for the opening of the National Museum of the Marine Corps’ fantastic OIF/OEF exhibit so we were so fortunate to be able to get him in studio. Jeremiah talks about his experiences in Fallujah, his thoughts on the battle 20 year later, and how he feels the battle has impacted the Marine Corps and current and future Marines. His humility is infectious and his account of the battle is as enlightening as it is sincere. This is a very special episode and we are truly honored that he was willing to share the details of his story with us. We hope you find it as informative as you do engaging.

Enjoy!
