Ashley shares her path from investment banking in New York to Amazon and ultimately to building BAYLAB, an infection control company focused on simplifying how dental practices source essential supplies. What started as a look at gaps in healthcare evolved into a focused effort to serve dentistry more efficiently and thoughtfully.
Nina brings a different lens to the conversation, walking through her journey designing scrubs over the past 25 years and how that experience led to the creation of Parkley. Together, they discuss how something as simple as scrubs can affect how teams feel, how they show up, and how patients perceive a practice.
The episode also gets into what it's been like building businesses together as a mother-daughter duo, how their backgrounds complement each other, and what they're hoping to bring to the dental space moving forward.
