In this episode, we speak to Asher Grant, a nightlife entrepreneur and owner of multiple iconic London hotspots including Reign, Tabu & EggRun.

We explore his background, going from pursuing a west end acting career after university, to breaking into the world of nightclubs and promoting where he quickly learnt to sell, serve champagne, socialise with absolutely anyone and build his now overflowing 'black book' of contacts. He explains how he spotted early on that the real opportunity was in the big spenders or 'clients' who in a city like London were out partying somewhere, every single night of the week.

He dives into the story of how he eventually went from promoting clubs to founding his own, raising investment, leveraging his network and capitalizing on his compounded list of clients who would always come to him. From hustling more business out of AMEX centurion's client contact manager to building genuine friendships with billionaires, he shares many stories & insights which I'm sure you'll find both insightful and entertaining! £100k club show bottles, celebrity guests, and what really determines 'who gets in' on a central London night out. We also discuss the darker side of the nightlife industry, how COVID nearly ruined everything and where he sees his business going in the long term...

I was genuinely fascinated to speak with Asher and learn first hand what the industry is really like, as well as break the stereotypes I had previously held around owners of these sorts of venues! There's a million lessons in this episode that can be applied to all areas of entrepreneurship, relationships and life in general - enjoy it, this one is a banger!
