A suggestion people should fuel-up as they go, with conflict in the Middle East pushing petrol prices higher.

Fighting in the region has led to oil reaching more than $90 USD a barrel, as key shipping routes close and oil-production in the Gulf is cut.

Qatar's Energy Minister warned prices could continue to rise if the fighting goes on.

AA's Fuel spokesperson Terry Collins says the market hasn't seen price increases since the Russia-Ukraine war began, but this is projected to get worse.
