Motorcyclists are putting their bike registrations on hold in order to protest against 'unfair' increases to ACC levies.
From July 2026, motorbikes would be classified into three sizes depending on their size - and the annual ACC levy would be put up, depending on the category.
Motorcycle Advocacy Group NZ spokesperson Richard Tohu joined the Afternoons team to explain further.
