Today marked 40 years since the Erebus tragedy.
Commemoration services took place in Auckland to mark the tragedy - which killed all 257 people on board.
Other commemorations included a ceremony at Scott Base in Antarctica.
Antarctica New Zealand’s Georgia Nelson told Simon and Phil live from Antarctica it was a poignant moment for everyone at Scott Base.
