Hopes a solution can be found after a red zone BMX track built by youths was flattened.
A group of eight boys spent their spare time constructing jumps and berms on a 100 metre stretch of land on Richmond Hill in Sumner.
Land Information New Zealand deconstructed the track after it was deemed a hazard- because land dangers in the area.
LINZ spokesperson Matt Bradley says [told Simon Barnett and Phil Gifford] they would be open to investigating other locations with the boys.
