Covid-19 has slammed a huge dent in the number of New Zealand businesses.
About 35,000 have closed in the past year.
Business New Zealand CEO Kirk Hope says that number is double the norm for annual business closures.
However Hope says about 30,000 businesses have formed in the same period the 35,000 closed.
