A renewed call for Government regulation of the sunscreen industry after the latest protection testing results.
Consumer NZ has found nine of 20 products didn’t provide the sun protection claimed.
They included big-name brands like Cancer Society's everyday SPF 50 plus sun lotion, Banana Boat and Sunsense.
Consumer NZ Head of Research Jessica Wilson told Simon and Phil sunscreens are failing to meet the claims they make.
