Homeopathy, an alternative medicine originating in Germany 200 years ago, has long been criticised by the scientific community as pseudoscience.
Despite this more than half of kiwis in a 2012 survey believed homeopathy had been scientifically proven.
In the latest North and South magazine freelance writer Jonathon Harper questioned continuing funding for NZAQ qualifications in homeopathy and ACC pay outs.
He joined Simon and Phil to discuss its growing use in New Zealand.
