The Child Poverty Action Group wants the Government to do more - and faster.
The Government says it will lift up to 33,000 children out of poverty by next year, with benefit lifts in today's Budget.
Child Poverty Action Group researcher Caitlin Neuwelt-Kearns says it's a big step.
