The Government has unveiled its multi-billion dollar support package to help deflect the impact of COVID-19.
The $12.1 billion boost includes over $5 billion for wage subsidies and $2.8 billion on business tax changes.
Newstalk ZB Political Editor Barry Soper told Simon Barnett and Phil Gifford that Finance Minister Grant Robertson's pulled out all the stops.
"When you go back and look at the spending in the last two budgets and the spending in the upcoming budget, this is greater than those three."
