More Kiwi specialists are joining Samoa's fight against measles, which has killed more than 70.
Foreign Minister Winston Peters is visiting the Pacific Island nation and has announced help for long term needs.
It includes Samoan-speaking medical personnel, trauma support and a biomedical engineer to help out with new medical equipment.
Up to four anaesthetists will help local surgical teams tackle the backlog of postponed surgeries.
And there's money for a new oxygen generation plant.
