In the “Mastering the Game” podcast, host Jermaine Harris discusses the use of Neuralink to enable a quadriplegic individual named Nolan Arbaugh to play Civilization 6 using his mind. Jermaine expresses admiration for this technological development, noting that it provides Arbaugh with increased independence and enjoyment. However, he also voices concerns about the new and untested nature of Neuralink, as well as the potential risks of implanting such a device in the human mind. While acknowledging that Arbaugh consented to the implant and supporting individual choices regarding its use, Harris remains wary of potential misuse or manipulation of the technology by bad actors in the future.
