In the “Mastering the Game” podcast, host Jermaine Harris shares his recent experience with playing Gotham Knights. He initially found the game disappointing, particularly in terms of its combat system, which he had hoped would resemble the mechanics of previous Batman games. Comparing it to Spider-Man and Spider-Man Miles Morales, Jermaine feels that the combat in those games is superior. Additionally, he finds the game’s map cluttered but appreciates the inclusion of random conversations. The sound of the bat cycle and the complexity of the loot-based crafting system also detract from his enjoyment. Despite his disappointment, as a fan of Batman, Jermaine plans to persevere and hopes that the game will improve as he progresses.
