Tony Hoffer is most known for his colorful, gritty productions and mixes that pop out of the speakers. His work over the years spans across alternative, electronic, rock, pop and indie.Hoffer spent his early years in Miami making music on 2 cassette decks and a reel-to-reel machine. As a teenager, he moved to Los Angeles and went ‘hi-tech’ upgrading to a Tascam 4-track cassette deck falling in love with music and the art of production.Tony started off playing guitar in ‘post-punk’ bands and fell in love with sampling his favorite post-punk records (Cure, Chameleons, Bauhaus) into his own songs and productions. His big break was co-producing Beck’s double Grammy nominated album ‘Midnite Vultures’ which was a hybrid of intricate sampling and live playing. That initially led to him to working with Air, Phoenix and Supergrass. As an active recording and touring musician for over thirty years, Brad cut his teeth as the guitarist and vocalist in From Ashes Rise, making music in a scene fraught with challenges to sound quality. He was raised in the North Mississippi Hill Country, surrounded by a rich and historic music scene, and, after studying Recording Industry Technology at Middle Tennessee State University in the late 1990s, Brad armed himself with a healthy obsession with records, sound, and music. Joe McGrath is well known within the music industry and is an accomplished producer, and recording/mix engineer who leads the team at Hellfire Recording Studio Dublin. Detroit based multi-Grammy nominated and two time Grammy winning mixer, producer, musician, and engineer Collin Dupuis has developed a sought after sound over the last fifteen years working with critically acclaimed artists and projects including Yves Tumor, Angel Olsen, Lana Del Rey, St. Vincent, Dr. John, The Black Keys, Ray LaMontange, Richard Swift, and many others.Beginning his career playing in bands, running a DIY recording studio in Michigan, and doing tech work around the Detroit area, he quickly found himself working at FBT (The Bass Brothers) studio as an assistant engineer. Working there, he cut his teeth working with artists and producers of the likes of Mr. Porter, Eminem, Pharoahe Monch, and many more. Working at FBT studios along with working in the tech shop at Vintage King Audio helped to develop a deep understanding of studio work both technically and sonically.This knowledge helped him make connections and bridge the gap into the rock and electronic worlds of the Detroit music scene. He soon got a call to set up a studio at Jack White's house and help out on the White Stripes’ “Get Behind Me Satan.” Shortly after that, Collin was hired at Carl Craig’s Planet-E records. He engineered for the next five years alongside Carl on remixes, production, live sound in Europe, mastering, and mixing.Collin next got the call from Dan Auerbach to help him get his Akron studio up and running. This led to a move to Nashville and many critically acclaimed albums working as the lead engineer at Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound. During his time at Easy Eye Sound he earned a Grammy win for engineering and mixing Dr. John’s “Locked Down”. Doug McBride is a multi-talented individual who wears many hats—Founder and Chief Engineer at Gravity Studios, mastering engineer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, as well as a family man. Located in Chicago's Wicker Park, Gravity Studios has been a launchpad for various artists. Doug's career took off at the Chicago Recording Company, where he climbed the ranks from 1990 to 1993. He has worked with a plethora of artists, including Izzy Stradlin, Veruca Salt, Smashing Pumpkins, and Fall Out Boy. Joe Reinhart is an engineer, producer, mixer, and multi-instrumentalist from Philadelphia, PA.Joe is also a Co-owner of Headroom Studio.He has been recording bands since he was 15, starting off with a Tascam Portastudio in his parents’ basement.Many bands and years later, in 2007, he recorded his band, Algernon Cadwallader’s debut LP, “Some Kind of Cadwallader” in a variety of locations, including his West Philly bedroom studio that he shared with his band members.It was around that time that he also met Kyle at Drexel, and a couple years after that, moved into a warehouse that was dubbed “Big Mama’s” and put some gear in the extra rehearsal room that became The Headroom.It was here that Joe recorded a ton of projects like Hop Along’s “Get Disowned”, which he later joined as a lead guitarist in 2012.Since then he’s produced bands like Joyce Manor, Modern Baseball and so many others. Born in Wolverhampton, UK and growing up in the Midlands area Alex Newport currently lives in Los Angeles. The owner of Future Shock recording studio, Newport got his start as the founding member of UK noise-rock band Fudge Tunnel.Moving behind the boards, Newport became a highly sought-after producer after producing hugely influential records for At the Drive-In (In/Casino/Out, 1998 and Vaya, 1999) and The Mars Volta (Tremulant, 2002). In 2011 he commenced an ongoing relationship with the Juno Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green, AKA City And Colour. Jesse Gander has been involved in sound and music production for over 20 years. In this time, He’s recorded about 600 releases by over 500 bands and artists from around the world. Jesse has worked with bands from Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Italy, Japan, Scotland, Ireland, Mexico, Bulgaria, Thailand, Japan, Finland, England, Belgium, U.S.A., and of course Canada.
