This week MVM takes a deep-dive into X-Men: Evolution from the year 2000! It was huge for Marvel, not only did the X-Men movie hit screens and change the game for superhero cinema, but a brand new X-Men animated series debuted on Kids' WB and transformed a whole generation of kids into X-Men fans! It was a show full of changes to Marvel’s mutants, from a goth version of Rogue, to Wolverine becoming a teacher, and the X-Men attending a regular high school! This series also introduced original X-Men characters like Storm’s nephew Spyke, and Wolverine’s clone X-23 aka Laura! We’ll take you behind the scenes on the making of X-Men Evolution, and what it took to become the successor to X-Men The Animated Series! We’ll dive into the creation, the network constrictions, the merchandise tie-ins and everything else!
