The Ultraverse is a forgotten corner of the Marvel Universe, packed with hidden superheroes from the 90s! Forget about Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine and The Avengers, it’s time to learn about Prime, Prototype, Nightman and The Ultraforce! Before the MCU, Hollywood went through a massive comic book boom in the early 90’s, as comics like The Mask, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Crow became big hits! Marvel Comics bought out one of their competitors, Malibu Comics, and merged their Ultraverse into the Marvel Universe! This launched Ultraforce the animated series, a video game and even a line of action figures! But it wasn’t long before Marvel cancelled Ultraforce and all the other Ultra-Heroes, making sure they’d never be seen ever again!
Who were Ultraforce? Why did Marvel buy Malibu Comics only to shut them down? And why has Marvel tried to forget they ever existed?
