Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, are set to open higher on December 8 ahead of the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) monetary policy decision, where the central bank is likely to keep key rates unchanged for the fifth consecutive time.
India's GIFT Nifty this morning indicated that the Nifty 50 will open higher than its previous close of 20,901.15. The RBI's rate decision will be announced at 10:00 am.
