Jean Munson, a Las Vegas artist and activist, discusses Plot Twist Publishing, the publishing company she co-founded in 2016 to provide opportunities for young women in comics. She emphasizes her memoir comics, inspired by her Filipino American experience, and highlights the rarity of Filipino American comics creators in Las Vegas. Munson shares her involvement in the "Living Here" exhibition at the Marjorie Barrick Museum of Art and also mentions her upcoming comic inspired by the exhibition. The comic, which focuses on Quindo Miller's "Endless" installation, will appear in an upcoming issue of "Dry Heat."
