Ross is trying to make sense of a date that, by all accounts, should’ve led to a second one. He met Janelle in Oakland for dinner, and everything from the conversation to the energy felt effortless. They were laughing, sharing food, and ended the night with a walk around Lake Merritt because neither of them seemed ready to say goodbye. Ross walked away feeling good about it, but the next day when he texted her, he got no response at all. Now we’re digging into what could’ve happened between a great night and a complete ghost.
