Nearly 36-hundred U.S. adults and found that about half (48%) forget to choose not to wash their hands at key times, like after grocery shopping, dining out, or going to a doctor’s office. While people are most likely to wash up after going to the bathroom, handling food or pet or human waste, only 30% wash after sneezing or coughing.
