Jula chants Jay Durge
Jula chants Jay Durge during a satsang at Yoga Vidya in Bad Meinberg, Germany. Durga is one of the most important goddesses. Originally, she was worshipped as the embodiment of the elemental force that simultaneously gives life and takes life away. Later she was given the role of Shakti, the impersonal Absolute, the female counterpart to the great male deity. In this capacity she also became the consort of Shiva. Durga is a very strong goddess. When she appears in a friendly form, she nourishes humans and animals, but above all she is the combative patroness who always shows her destructive power when the earth is threatened by demons. Durga usually has eight arms and sometimes three eyes. She sits on a lotus throne or rides a lion or tiger. Her attributes are three teeth, sword, snake, bell, drum, shield, skull bowl, arrow, bow, wheel, water jug and conch shell. Mantras are powerful sound energies in Sanskrit, a prayer and chant language. The correct use of these sound energies helps to achieve health, inner harmony, mental clarity, powerful life energy, unfolding of love and joy. The highest goal of Mantra Yoga, as always in yoga, is the realization of the true nature, the oneness with the infinite life itself. Mantra Yoga is considered one of the most powerful, simple, safe and fast ways to this realization. Sat Chit Ananda Express performs Om Namah Shivaya
Om Namah Shivaya, performed by the Sat Chit Ananda Express. This kirtan is part of a concert by the Sat Chit Ananda Express that took place in Horn-Bad Meinberg a few months ago. Om Namah Shivaya is a common greeting in yoga. "Om" is Om , the all-embracing. "Namah" means more or less "greeting to" and "Shivaya" means "to Shiva". So Om Namah Shivaya means obeisance to Shiva. But what does Shiva mean? Shiva has many different meanings. "Shiva" literally means "the loving one, the kind one." But it also means "the higher self" and "the divine everywhere." We can say "Om Namah Shivaya" and use it in meditation or kirtan. It is the invocation of the kind, loving, higher self within us. Group Mudita chants Hari Om Namah Shivaya Om
This song is performed by Group Mudita and was part of a concert held in Bad-Meinberg. Hari Om is sometimes used as a greeting, but can also be chanted. It could be loosely translated as "I greet the divine in you. I turn to you with love." OM comes from the Vedanta tradition and stands for Cosmic Unity. By greeting each other with Om, one is aware that both are ultimately one. The selves of both who greet each other are one. And the whole world you are in is a cosmic whole. Hari comes from the Bhakti tradition, especially Vaishnavism. Hari is an epithet of Vishnu and also of Krishna. Hari stands for a personal reference to God. By including Hari in the greeting, one expresses: May God's blessing be on our connection. May we dedicate everything to God. God dwells in your heart. He meets me in you You can share the audio with others, to spread love and harmony.🌍💞 This way you actively help to spread yoga around the world. The Heart Sutra Gate Gate Paragate with Jula
The Heart Sutra is considered one of the most famous Buddhist texts and, as an ancient Japanese translation, is at the center of numerous schools of Zen. In it, the Buddha Avalokiteshvara teaches about the highest virtue on the path to enlightenment: perfect wisdom, in Sanskrit Prajnaparamita, that is, the knowledge of the emptiness of all phenomena. The mantra is the conclusion and climax of the sutra. The meaning of the syllables GATE means "gone", the passage from suffering to liberation from suffering. PARA amplifies GATE and means "to the other shore", "all the way". GAM amplifies GATE and means "all living beings", "the whole Sangha". BODHI means the attained state of "enlightenment" or "awakening". SVAHA means "May the meaning of the mantra take root in my heart! comparable to "Amen" or "Hallelujah". Om Shri Ram Jay Ram performed by The Kirtanfamily
Long ago in the home of Shiva, Parvati sat on Mount Kailash, sitting and chanted the thousand names of Vishnu, a very long, complex and time-consuming prayer. Shiva was in a hurry and wanted to go to another cosmic appointment, and he told her that it was time to go now. Parvati replied that she could not leave until she finished her prayers. But it was impossible for Shiva to wait any longer, so he said, "Parvati, say this mantra: Aum Sri Rama Jaya Rama Jaya Rama.' It has a similar power as the 1000 names of Vishnu, and now let us go. go... Svenja chants Shari Ram Jaya Ram Sitaram
OM! Enjoy this powerful kirtan live session and experience joy, happiness and radiance! "Jaya Sitaram" is a kirtan that embodies a joy, also an awakening, a moving forward, gives such an enthusiasm. "Jaya Sitaram" essentially invokes Rama, Ram, who brings joy, who is pleasant, who is beautiful. Rama may be Jaya, Jaya means "victory," it means "live" or even "may triumph." Jaya is such an advance, is such a joy, also an enthusiasm. Sita, after all, represents the earth goddess, and Rama represents the sun dynasty. So this both represents the union of male and female, sun and moon, the polarities. "May we enjoy life in its wholeness, in its polarities, experiencing oneness." Asato Ma Sad Gamaya chanted by the Yoga Vidya Kirtan Family
Asato Ma Sad Gamaya is a powerful peace mantra to guide us to liberation from our own ignorance. "Guide me..." reminds us that there is a higher energy that guides us along the way. The essence of this mantra is to transform from Asat (untruth) to Sat (truth). The three individual verses are like an affirmation or prayer that help us experience the highest. The goal in yoga is moksa, liberation, immersion in the light - which is exactly what we ask for in this mantra. It is a soothing mantra that gives us hope. It reminds us that there is a higher energy that stands by us in difficult times and also every day when we want to overcome our own limitations. 🎵 C G asato mā sad gamaya C G tamaso mā jyotir gamaya C G mṛtyor mā - āmṛtaṃ gamaya C G mṛtyor mā - āmṛtaṃ gamaya (Capo 2) Shankara Pierre Hübener: vocals Svenja Bade: vocals Patrik Frauzem: harmonium, Choir Dorothee Grubert: bass, choir Shivapriya Clara Grubert: choir Ananda Devi Mel Kissling: choir Ramani Julia Brandenbunrg; choir Jula Liebhold: choir Peywand Semrau: strings Garuda Robert Plawetzli: clarinet in break Simon Siesta: remaining instruments + recording, mixing, mastering If you are interested in seminars with music, you can find here seminars on mantra and music.
